Hi Dorothy. Welcome to Caedes would seem to be in order. Thanks for your comments on "Black Throated Green Warbler". Glad you enjoyed the view. I noticed it came out a little darker than expected too. I did the editing on one computer and uploaded it on a second. On the second PC the image actually appeared much lighter so I did some last minute editing to darken it. It did look okay on that monitor but on this one it is darker. I sadly put the clippers away for the winter so the funky coloured leaves will have to endure until I dig them out in the spring.:) Have a great day, ~Wendell

I'm glad you got a little blue sky for a change. It's certainly welcome at times.

This is a beautiful, artistic photo, Dorothy. I love how the patches of thick fog hide and reveal details along the shoreline. The variety of different trees are wonderful, especially the large one left of center, which has real character. I also like the sun's glow in the upper left-hand corner and the quality of the light. Great shot!

Mr Clean
Thanks for the critique Dorothy. You guessed it, it is the same guy as the other one but as for who he is... well who can say. This shot was taken just before or after "No Pictures". Yep it is that old. If it gets as much as a 2 in the voting booth I'll be surprised :) If it makes a person or two smile as it has you it will have accomplished my purpose in posting it and will be considered a great success!

Thanks Dorothy for your excellent critique of "Good Morning". It is great to finally find someone who really appreciates a quick snapshot that has no redeemable features. I look forward to your continuing support on my Salutation Series of photos. They will soon be available as e-cards and ringtones.

I hope you come through the hip replacement surgery with flying colours and continue with your hobby of skateboarding all the national monuments.
